The housing market defied naysayers. What about next year?

Realtor.com calls for growth in home sales of about 8.5 percent compared to 2020 and for prices to go up about 3.5 percent

It’s safe to say that nobody saw 2020 coming, least of all the housing analyst who told Crain’s at this time last year that 2020 would bring Chicago “more of the same steady, boring housing market.”
