New development in city center
Downtown, or Uptown Park Ridge as it is known, is taking on a new appearance with the unique collaboration of the City of Park Ridge and PRC Partners. The unique real estate redevelopment plan includes in-town condominium, townhome and rowhome living surrounded by boutiques and restaurants – all within easy access to Metra trains. It is located at Touhy Avenue and Northwest Highway in the heart of Park Ridge.

The Uptown Park Ridge project will retain the district's historic flavor and it's people-friendly character. Information about the mixed-use development can be found at www.uptownparkridge.com. The project includes 189 new residential townhomes/condominiums and more than 85,000 square feet of retail space.

Phase one of the project, construction of townhomes and rowhomes, began this summer. Phase two, construction of residential lofts and retail shops, is scheduled to begin in December. Phase three, starting in 2006, includes construction of condos and more retail space. All work is scheduled to be completed by 2008.

The development of Uptown Park Ridge will not only be the place to live and shop, but also to gather, dine and be entertained.
